Cat Stud Clutch

It’s always fun to learn a new skill. Oh I’m sorry, did I say fun? I probably meant to say frustrating at first because you can’t figure out what the crap you’re doing, but once you get the hang of it, it’s not too bad and you’re glad you stuck it out. I guess that’s considered fun, right?

Anyways, I’ve been working on making some of my own clutches and this is one that I am pretty proud of. It was an extra boost of confidence that whilst attempting to add a lining and sew in a zipper on this one, I ended up making a pretty good looking bag (if I do say so myself). Progress!!

Of course, why would I not do a cat themed bag for my first one? I’m planning on doing a few practice clutches with cheaper materials before I splurge on some nice leather, but don’t worry, this won’t be the last kitty themed bag- that’s for sure!

Oh my so cute! Did you use a vintage scarf for you lining or fabric? I just love it!!! Sewing is my least favorite craft and I mainly think its because it intimidates me. I like paper I can rip and add details with glue pretty easily and have a great project. After seeing your clutch though it might be time to jump out of my comfort zone.

As always I love your blog!

Will you be finishing your house series? I was excited to see more pictures of the house you got.
