Tribal Tee + Leather Leggings

While it can be frustrating to deal with the Missouri weather roller coaster that is April and May, I have to admit that I do love that I can wear the boots/tee shirt combo during those months. These boots are one of the two brown articles of clothing that I have and although they don’t get worn as much as they deserve to be, I still can’t bring myself to part with them.

I have also recently discovered that I have a bit of an aversion to bracelets that I have been trying to break. I think I just didn’t like the feeling of extra weight on my wrists, so I’ve pretty much avoided them all together. Apparently I mentally felt I needed my wrists as free as possible for more important things (like throwing a punch when elbowing towards the last piece of pizza at gatherings). Up until the past few months, I really can’t tell you what year it was when I last wore anything on my wrist on a regular basis. I would always see other gals displaying their lower arm candy, and I loved it on them, so I kind of forced myself to wear them for a few weeks to get used to the feeling, and now I really like the option.

Anyways, I’ll take the early spring climate ping-pong for now and savor the time before I have to give my boots a kiss and pack them away for a bit until fall. I’ll tuck them back into their boxes and they’ll snuggle into the tissue paper while I sing them an ancient boot lullaby from…ok, I’ll stop now, this is getting weird…
