As some people grow older, they reflect on words of wisdom appropriate for the aging process and contemplate the maturity and sophistication that another year brings. That’s some people. Today, as I turn 28, all I can think about is that magnificent piece of classic literature that reads, “Go shawty, it’s your birthday, we gonna party like it’s your birthday.”

Maybe later on this week I’ll take time to do the contemplation thing, but today, I’m still young, in love, and I have the disposable income to buy giant balloons just because I want them.
