So, if you’ve been on my Instagram lately (@gummergal) you’ve probably noticed that Todd and I took a little trip to Costa Rica last week (!!!). We just got back a few days ago so we’re still unpacking and putting the house back together, but I wanted to share a few photos with you while I work on picking out my favorites from the rest of the trip. The weather was definitely hot and humid during the day (hence the curly/frizzy hair) so I was really glad that I brought mostly dresses and shorts to wear. This skirt actually has built in shorts in it (which I think is the most genius idea ever for people who like hemlines the-shorter-the-better) but the icing on the cake for me is the flowery jungle print fabric—perfect for Costa Rica!

All of the jungle plants just kill me and I want to move them all to my backyard. I’ll share more photos once I get them together, I can’t wait for you to see how beautiful everything was!
I absolutely love those shorts. I agree, built in shorts in a skirt, aka a skort is THE best idea ever. You look so fit in that crop top. Great wedges too. Did you go to Costa Rica with A Beautiful Mess?
