This is my second year of doing the December Daily photo book challenge where you take and print photos of each day in December to create a special album of memories. This year’s book is a little simpler than last year’s, but I’m still glad that I decided to do one. This was our first Christmas season here in Nashville, but while it felt really different from last year, you’ll notice that there are still lots of similarities (brunches, kitties sleeping under the tree, Todd being on the road, etc). It is a TON of work that goes into making these kind of books, but I always think it’s worth it once it gets completed. And I got to feature a bunch of the photos I took with my new Instax camera (once I unwrapped it at Christmas)—so fun!! Have you ever done a “month/week in the life” book before?

Yours looks so much better than mine!*
*i actually haven’t started mine yet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It’s cool! It is fun once you get into though. Just try it and you never have to do it again if you hate it…

So Cute 🙂

Hi Laura!
I was wondering if you could do a post on your career journey, from what you wanted to be/ schooling to working with A Beautiful Mess. I love your work you do with them as well as your personal blog and would be interested to know how you got to where you are now.
Thanks 🙂
Oh thanks Gwen! Well, I basically just happened to be friends with Elsie and she asked me to come work for them when she saw the type of projects I did for my own personal fun, so I don’t know if anyone else can quite replicate that scenario but I’ll give it some thought!
